World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of items is a crucial part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They are available through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Every recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon gets upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon can also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects, and some have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and they generally require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. Once a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it can be replaced with another but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool on an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon level.
When the weapon reaches its maximum level of improvement it can be rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. These upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify standard weapons.
In general, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, as this can increase DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that are extremely effective in boosting a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. In most cases, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This is the case for most types of armor, but some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. Some upgrade components, however can lead to significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the defense of an item, some upgrades also offer special abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be extremely beneficial in combat. For instance, they can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades also offer passive effects, such as decreasing the amount of damage that is taken while wearing armor or adding the chance to avoid attacks.
Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, depending on the type of armor. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59 and 67. The second attempt would result in an Dragonscale armor with the base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useful. The fact of the matter is that some armors come with very substantial increases in poison or curse, fire, or magical damage reduction, making them invaluable for certain builds. There are other methods to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger to reduce total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock higher levels of potency.
The potions also have a custom color, which can be selected by the player using /give. The color affects the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows generated. In super fast reply , the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, a common thick and awkward potions now have a fresh texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness have been added. Trinket
A trinket could be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. This can also refers to a gilded trinket that is attached to the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. The trinket, at the moment, makes all types Xx of replicas more popular and gives every floor an Y% chance that it contains an ebony copy. Upgrades to this trinket cost a moderate amount energy.
The magic of the enchanted scepter is believed to influence the dungeon which makes it more likely to produce water and grass. This trinket at the current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or other items that are created to help solve hazards rooms.
Although it appears to be a normal newt's eye, this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways beyond merely reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, boosts the health benefits gained from drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X%, and gives you mind-sight on enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will cause an unpredictable effect on the trinket, either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reorge the Trinket multiple times as often as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you forged it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by just a little.
